2022 Fishing Open Day.We had a great day on Saturday 20th August when we staged our fly fishing day, to give the Harris community a chance to cast a fly into Loch Fincastle. Thanks to all of you hardy souls who braved the various squalls, and some sunshine, to try their hand at fly fishing. The event was to also mark the completion of structural works on the dam, done with the help of Foundation Scotland and the West Harris Trust. The dam is now in good shape, and should be supporting anglers for the next few centuries! We wanted to also give a special thanks to Ian Leach, Graham Milne, and a very own Finlay MacKinnon for imparting their angling expertise to all those who wished to learn. It was all done with patience, good humour, and a bit of flair.#isleofharris #flyfishing #salmon #outerhebrides ... See MoreSee Less
