Updates from the estate
Taransay Calling…. The 26th of April 2022 saw the first of our passenger boat day trips to the beautiful Isle of Taransay. The sailings were meant to commence in summer 2020, but a global pandemic had other ideas and so everything was put on hold before it even started.
This week the owners of Borve Lodge Estate have added their voices to thousands of others campaigning against plans for the installation of eight glamping pods on the shoreline overlooking the famous Luskentyre beach.
It’s ten years since Adam and Cathra Kelliher, the owners of Borve Lodge Estate, bought the beautiful Hebridean island of Taransay in Scotland. Taransay is a remote and unspoiled island that offers a unique and unforgettable experience to those who venture to its shores. With crystal clear waters, white sandy beaches, and an abundance of wildlife, it’s a nature lover’s paradise.
Winter is over… and we’re very excited to be able welcome guests back to Borve Lodge Estate once more! From 26 April, Scottish Coronavirus regulations permitted unrestricted travel within Scotland and between Scotland and England, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
