Tarasaigh is the Scottish Gaelic name for Taransay and this property is aptly named as its commanding position in Seilebost overlooks its island namesake. With enviable views of the golden sands of Seilebost beach towards Luskentyre, this well appointed house sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 bedrooms.

From the front door of the house, across the single track road, it is just a few steps down to one of the most beautiful beaches in Scotland.  You can while away endless hours enjoying the crystal clear waters of the Sound of Taransay before returning to the house to sit and enjoy a drink on the patio while watching the sun setting in the west.

With a huge amount of well thought-out space, Tarasaigh House offers extremely comfortable living. A very large open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge with wood burning stove offer all the social space that family and friends will need. You can also retire to the quiet snug room with its own wood burner to read a book or just relax.  There are four bedrooms as follows:

There is one double bedroom on the ground floor with fitted wardrobes and ensuite shower room. Two further double bedrooms can be found on the first floor along with a twin bedroom.  These three bedrooms share the first floor bathroom.

Pets are not allowed at any time within Tarasaigh House.

Tarasaigh House is available for weekly bookings from Monday to Monday and is the perfect year round holiday home.
