The main ways to get to Harris are:

By Air: The Gateways of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness are all a quick air connection from Stornoway. Transport can then be organised from the airport for the 70-minute drive to the Estate. Car rental is also available from theairport.

By Car: Driving across Skye is the approach for the Uig-Tarbeart ferry, a 90-minute crossing straight to Harris, culminating in a 15-minute drive to the Estate. The second northern route is a longer 2.5 hour crossing by the Ullapool-Stornoway ferry, after which is the 70-minute drive south. The ferry service is run by  Calmac
